About Us

The Greenfield 4th of July Celebration is made possible through the generous efforts of the Partners of Greenfield Parks and Recreation, a non–profit organization formed to improve, develop and promote The City of Greenfield parks.

We are excited to announce the return of the Greenfield Concert Band as a Presenting Sponsor for our 2018 4th of July Celebration. The Greenfield Concert Band, which is composed of professional and amateur adult musicians and gifted students from throughout the southeastern Wisconsin area, is a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to unite the talents of its performers, empower its membership with a quality repertoire, and provide the community with positive and memorable musical experiences.

The 4th of July Celebration will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4. The festivities will begin with the 4th of July Parade, which steps off at 12:15 p.m. from the intersection of  South 68th Street and West Layton Avenue and continues east on Layton Avenue to Konkel Park. The celebration continues throughout the day on the grounds of Konkel Park, featuring the 5th quarter performance from the University of Wisconsin Marching Band; Mini Miss, Little Miss and Junior Miss Greenfield Pageants; family-friendly KidZone; food and treats from area vendors; live entertainment from local bands Liquid Crush and The Cheap Shots; and much more.

The day’s entertainment will close with a grand finale of fireworks beginning at 9:45 p.m.
